Sean Murphy is the owner of Splash Pool Leak Detection and a Florida Certified Pool Contractor with a passion for solving problems that others can’t. Born and raised in Venice, Florida, Sean has spent years helping homeowners throughout Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties find and repair swimming pool leaks with precision and honesty.

Known for his thorough approach and commitment to quality, Sean specializes in advanced leak detection, underground plumbing repairs, skimmer replacements, equipment installations, and complete pool plumbing diagnostics. He believes in taking the time to find the true cause of a problem rather than offering temporary fixes, saving customers time, money, and frustration.

Sean founded Splash Pool Leak Detection with the goal of providing reliable, transparent service backed by skilled workmanship and clear communication. Together with his brother Charles, he has built a family-owned company that values integrity, professionalism, and treating every customer like a neighbor. When he’s not helping customers, Sean enjoys boating, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his wife Samantha.

• Matt Kuntz played an important role in the early history of Splash Pool Leak Detection. With more than 28 years of experience in the swimming pool industry, Matt earned a strong reputation throughout Southwest Florida for quality craftsmanship, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
• Before joining Splash, Matt owned and operated Resurrection Pools, one of the area’s well-known family-owned pool companies, where he helped design, renovate, and transform thousands of swimming pools and outdoor living spaces. His extensive industry knowledge and commitment to excellence helped establish a strong foundation during Splash’s early years.
• Matt is no longer affiliated with Splash Pool Leak Detection. Today, the company is independently owned and operated by Sean Murphy and Charles Murphy, who continue building on those values while leading the business into its next chapter
